What happened

Romorgniz is recalling about 12,078 six-drawer dressers. If a dresser isn't anchored to a wall, it can tip forward, and a child could be trapped or seriously hurt underneath it. CPSC says the dressers fail the federal stability standard for clothing storage units that the STURDY Act put in place.

The dressers were sold on Amazon from May 2025 through August 2026 for $100 to $170. No incidents have been reported.

Is yours recalled?

Look for a wooden six-drawer dresser in white or black that stands about 43.2 inches tall and 27.6 inches wide and weighs about 73.3 pounds. Romorgniz sold them online through Amazon between May 2025 and August 2026.

What to do

  1. If your dresser isn't anchored to a wall, stop using it now and move it to a room children can't get into.
  2. Contact Romorgniz by email or through the recall page on its website to ask for your full refund.
  3. Write RECALLED in permanent marker on the top, front and sides, take out every drawer, and email photos of the marked, taken-apart dresser to Romorgniz.
  4. Once you've sent the photos, dispose of the dresser.

Lawsuits & settlements

The recall itself gets you a refund. Money for other losses usually only comes from a class action or settlement, if one follows — often when buyers paid for something that didn't work as promised. If a settlement opens over this recall, it will be listed on Owed's settlements page.

FAQ

The recall covers Romorgniz six-drawer dressers sold on Amazon from May 2025 through August 2026. They're wooden, white or black, and about 43.2 inches tall.

Contact Romorgniz by email or on its recall page. It's offering a full refund. You'll be asked to mark the dresser RECALLED in permanent marker, remove the drawers and send photos.

The urgent warning is for dressers that aren't anchored: stop using those right away. Anchored or not, the dresser is recalled because it fails the federal stability standard, and the full refund applies.
