Ford is recalling 102,159 Super Duty and F-150 trucks because the analog speedometer and tachometer can stick or jump around. Ford expects a fix in December 2026.
A speedometer that fails to display accurate vehicle speed can increase the risk of a crash.
From NHTSA recall 26V653000What happened
Ford is recalling 102,159 trucks: certain 2025–2026 F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550 and F-600 Super Duty trucks, plus certain 2026 F-150 and F-750 trucks.
The problem is in the analog gauge cluster. The speedometer and tachometer can get stuck or jump around, so they may show the wrong readings. If you can't tell how fast you're going, the risk of a crash goes up. Because of this, the trucks don't meet the federal safety standard for controls and displays, FMVSS 101.
There is no fix yet. Ford expects to mail interim letters about the risk on October 26, 2026, and to have the fix ready in December 2026. Dealers will then replace the instrument cluster for free.
