What happened
Esjay US is recalling about 276,000 Toddler Busy Board Montessori Toys. The maker is Shenzhen Yishijie Technology Co., Ltd., of China, which does business as Esjay US. The toys were sold on Amazon from March 2023 to July 2026 for $18 to $30.
One page of the busy board has red knobs, and those knobs can come off. Small parts are banned in toys made for children under three, like this one. A knob that comes loose can choke a child, and choking can be deadly. No incidents have been reported.

The recalled boards are made of blue felt, with handles for carrying, elastic cords and button closures. Cartoon dinosaurs cover the front. The back has 26 small alphabet squares, each with a letter and a cartoon animal.
Each board has five pages. The second page is the one with the red knobs. They were sold on Amazon from March 2023 to July 2026 for $18 to $30.
