Teleflora settlement: who qualifies, how much and how to claim
Quick answer

Yes, claims are open until Nov. 17, 2026. If Teleflora sent you promotional texts while your number was on the National Do Not Call Registry, you can claim up to $251 per phone number from the $6,000,000 settlement, minus your share of costs and fees, with no receipts needed but the claim ID printed on your notice required.

The court gave preliminary approval on Aug. 26, 2026, and the final approval hearing is Nov. 25, 2026. If no postcard reached you, call the administrator at 1-833-662-3434 to see whether your number is in the call records.

What the Teleflora text message settlement is about

The case is Carter v. Teleflora LLC, No. 2026-012979-CA-01, in the Miami-Dade County circuit court in Florida. Plaintiff Vickie Carter says Teleflora sent telemarketing texts to cell phone numbers that were on the National Do Not Call Registry without permission. She says that broke the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Virginia's telephone privacy law. Teleflora denies breaking either law, and the court hasn't decided who is right.

The suit was filed June 26, 2026, and the court preliminarily approved a settlement two months later. Teleflora agreed to a $6,000,000 settlement sum that pays class members who file valid claims, along with the cost of notice and administration and any attorneys' fees and expenses the court awards.

Who qualifies for the Teleflora settlement

The class is people across the U.S. who meet three conditions: you never gave Teleflora your number, you got more than one promotional text from Teleflora within a 12-month period, and your number had been on the Do Not Call Registry for at least 30 days before at least two of those texts. The class period starts May 9, 2021 and runs through the date of preliminary approval, Aug. 26, 2026. The notice estimates it covers about 23,844 phone numbers.

Eligibility attaches to a phone number. You file for each number you were the regular user or subscriber of, and only one claim per number is approved. You may have gotten a postcard. Even if you didn't, you can still be in the class if your cell number appears in the calling records, and the administrator will check it by phone.

How much you could get from the Teleflora settlement

An approved claim pays up to $251 per phone number, less your share of administration costs and the fee award. Treat $251 as a ceiling. Class counsel plans to ask for up to one-third of the fund, and settlement costs come out of the same $6,000,000.

The class is small, which keeps the math friendly. Spread across about 23,844 numbers, $6,000,000 comes to roughly $251 each before costs. If every number were claimed and the court granted a one-third fee, the average would land near $168. That is arithmetic for perspective, not a promise, and the final amount depends on how many valid claims come in. Payment is by mailed check. Because no proof is needed, this is the type of case covered in our guide to settlements with no proof required.

Is the Teleflora settlement legit?

Yes. Circuit Judge Mavel Ruiz signed the order preliminarily approving the deal on Aug. 26, 2026, and Angeion Group is the administrator. The official site is TFSettlement.com, and the notice lists 1-833-662-3434 for questions. If an Angeion postcard arrives, our guide to Angeion Group notices explains how to confirm it is real.

A genuine settlement never charges a fee to file and never asks for a bank login or a Social Security number. Because the case is about unwanted texts, be extra careful with text messages that claim to offer your payout. Go to the website by typing the address instead. What happens after you file

The administrator checks your claim and can ask you to fix missing information. The court then holds the Nov. 25, 2026 hearing to decide whether to approve the settlement and the fee request. Checks go out only after final approval and once any appeals are resolved, so expect to wait. Our explainer on how long settlement checks take covers typical timelines.
