Roblox Minors' Purchases Settlement
Addictive Design · Class action settlement
Lawsuit
Roblox agreed to a $60 million settlement over in-game currency purchases by minors between 2016 and 2024. Claims close August 24, 2026 — closing soon.
Roblox agreed to settle claims that it allowed minors to purchase Robux and in-experience items without meaningful parental controls, and that it deleted purchased content without refunds. Roblox denies the allegations.
Households can recover documented Robux purchases made by minors during the class period; undocumented claims receive a flat $10 payment.
Eligibility
All persons in the United States who, as a minor or as the parent of a minor, purchased Robux or in-experience items between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2024.
